Lakmi Tiwari (Tiwari’s mother) of Tansen, Rampur has said that she is saddened that the current youth generation is making Teejparva look like a loose and romantic one.
He said this while talking to journalists at the Teej feeding program organized for women by Campfire Station in Ward No. 12 of Tansen Municipality. He said that today’s songs and dances are more influenced by western culture than traditional and original, this is not good, it is important to take care of what our future generations learn from this.
He said that in the name of Teej songs, jewelry display, clothing display and a man must dance and also in the song, there is an increase in singing and dancing of obscene, loose and extravagant type of songs and this kind of distortion should be removed.
